This new facility will provide 1500sqm of Alternative Provision (AP) school for 56 pupils and 30 staff with an educational curriculum built around the sport of boxing.

The proposed site is situated on a busy street within Hackney and positively addresses various challenges around privacy and active frontages. Well considered internal planning positions all teaching spaces to face towards a private courtyard. This active courtyard is a great opportunity to introduce biophilic design promoting wellbeing and safety for students and staff.

The school will be Net zero carbon in operation with localised natural ventilation, ASHP and a blue/green bio-solar roof, and aligns with DfE Output Specification 2021.
