As part of the campus-wide NetZero strategy, our design for the core site of the SEC Centre seeks to capture opportunities to modernise and enhance the current offer both in a commercial and public sense.

A new entrance Atrium will form a focal point of the campus, containing flexible conferencing facilities, and food/beverage concepts, fully integrated with a lifestyle SEC hotel accessible to Campus patrons and public alike.

As the proposal images illustrate, a curvilinear Architectural form will chime with the neighbouring Armadillo and Hydro venues, revitalising the face of the SEC as an international destination - its proposed they will sit within new public realm for the district.

A 240 room hotel will provide a visual marker for venue on the city’s rising skyline and represent a new chapter in the storied history of Glasgow’s much-loved SEC.
