Holmes Miller contribute to RIBA's 'ReThink Design Guide'

Holmes Miller were delighted to contribute to Helen Taylor’s inspirational education narrative, as part of the RIBA’s ‘ReThink Design Guide’. Our thoughts on creating naturally ventilated spaces that extend the playspace for nursery children have taken on considerable new meaning in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. With our first centres adopting this model, for East Dunbartonshire Council, are set to complete in February 2021, and we are looking forward to understanding how children and practitioners will utilise this extra space, whilst bringing the immediate benefits for social distancing and circulation of fresh air, alongside the ability to deliver the pre-school curriculum in a healthy, and natural setting.
