We are currently preparing some of the most exciting residential designs, with striking contemporary buildings set in beautifully landscaped courtyards, gardens and streets.
We base our designs on a thorough analysis of the existing site context, bedding in the new development to benefit from historic backdrops and to enhance the local environment. The inter-weaving of the social life of the occupants is our paramount concern, as we determine how the residents will enter and leave their homes, where they will meet and interact with their neighbours, and how they will love and take ownership of their new home.
We have experience in all forms of residential life and in particular have extensive experience in care home design with several designs in Scotland, England and Ireland. Our focus is on high quality spaces , vibrant landscape and good views from internal spaces with lots of daylight, all in compliance with the latest guidance from the governing bodies. We have experience in Build-to-Rent accommodation where communal facilities such as cafes, gyms, cinemas, are included within the provision for young professionals. We are also involved in the student residency sector, designing spaces for studying and social interaction for younger people.
Our standard residential buildings are tenure blind to provide a unified urban fabric for both private sale and social rent, with a strong focus on a high-quality environment to facilitate rich communal relationships for all.
All our buildings are designed to the best standards of energy conservation, starting with passive methods of high insulation and air tightness, solar orientation, heat recovery ventilation. Thereafter we are well versed in the installation of a variety of renewables to provide low-carbon power.
